Off the clock
The stuff that actually matters.
Taxes pay the bills. Family, faith, and a couple of stubborn hobbies fill the rest.
Family & Hobbies
Home base.
I live in the Los Angeles area with my wife and our kids. She's the reason any of this works — running a household, keeping me sane, and laughing at my bad CPA jokes since long before they were profitable.
When I'm not at the office or filming, I'm probably fishing Castaic Lake, tending the smoker, cheering at a Little League game, or planning our next family trip — ideally somewhere with ancient history or a good national park.
Our weeks revolve around school drop-offs, church on Sundays, and family dinners we try (and mostly fail) to keep screen-free. My parents are still local too — multi-generational Sunday lunches with my mom's enchiladas are non-negotiable.

Ancient Coins
History you can hold.
Collecting ancient coins is a hobby that connects me to history in a tangible way. Here are some pieces I've featured on YouTube.
Roman Denarius
A silver denarius from the reign of Augustus.
I've been thinking about...
"Do not wait to strike till the iron is hot; but make it hot by striking."
